Fame in Your Face

My good friend from my days as a N.W.A. groupie, George Stombolopolis, told me about this fascinating site: myheritage.com

On this site you can upload a picture of yourself (or if you are slightly less self-centered, a picture of a loved one) to discover which celebrity you most resemble. The comparison is made on the basis of facial structure.

In the interest of science I undertook to test this site's accuracy. I uploaded three diferent pictures of myself: one very lovely picture, one "meh" picture, and one "dear god why?" picture. These are the results I received.

THE LOVELY PICTURE

70% Grace Kelly
68% Neve Campbell
67% Billy Corgan (?)
67% Kirsten Dunst
65% Cristina Ricci
63% Cristian Slater (hee hee)
63% Andie McDowell
61% Shania Twain
61% Sarah Michelle Gellar

THE MEH PICTURE

66% Wim Wenders
64% Brad Pitt
60% Danny Elfman
58% Billy Jean King
56% Josemaria Escriva
56% Elton John
55% Elvis Costello
55% Meryl Streep
54% Liza Minnelli
48% Shirley MacLaine

The "Dear God, Why?" Picture

60% Meryl Streep
56% Nigel Short
54% Toni Morrison
52% Cholalongkorn (??)
51% James Naismith
51% Bette Davis
49% Russel Crowe
49% Jan Peter Balkenende
47% Niklaus Wirth
45% Carrie-Anne Moss

ANALYSIS

Apparently, I'm rather mannish. But in terms of the software, if you put a picture of yourself in glasses, you'll just get a bunch of "celebrities" who wear glasses. Also, I learned I should get contacts because glasses make me look like Meryl Streep's and Win Wenders' love-child.
