Bad Omens
Today I wore socks for the first time in months. I feel constricted.
Also, I watched a flock of geese depart for warmer climes. I couldn't help it, I didn't care that I was in the bowl--I shouted, "take me with you!"
There are freshmen everywhere. One girl, who wore sunglasses that were clearly too big for her head, sauntered into the geology building and exclaimed, "Oh. My. God. Like, why are there dinosaurs here?" Followed by giggles.
...I think this means that summer is over.

I feel your pain about the freshmen. When I'm not agonizing over their expressions in the classroom, I get to hear their brilliant analyses of parties and classes for 50 minutes every day on the bus. Yes, though the weather remains deceptively warm for the time being, it is indeed a change of season.
