Murder Mouse(T) Foul

Dear World,

Today is my first day of freedom, I have finally been liberated from the tyranical grasp of my oppressors. Now that I am free, it behooves me to tell you my story, lest you should fall captive to these brutes.

They came into my home one night, guided only by the light of the moon and their hunger for mayhem. They destroyed our stores of food, deficated in our corners, and cut holes through our walls.

For weeks we suffered psychological torture at their tiny, pink hands: sleep depravation and paranoia, which ultimately led us to kill one of our captors. Ah, it was a sweet victory over their hasty little bodies.

Once we killed one, the other became restless--the torture and the abuse grew more intense. We attempted to kill the last of our captors, but he evaded every trap and disarmed every stratagem. Finally, however, we succeeded in removing his source of power (the oats in the cupboard) and he disappeared.

At first, we were too afraid to come out. It could have been a trap, or a cruel joke on their part to make us think they'd gone, only to pounce on us when we tried to escape! But after several days we noticed that the daemons were truly gone, and we made our break for freedom.
I write to you now from a cave in Katmandu, I await transport back to the safety of home.
